Three Ideas on Social Media from IBM
on July 16th, 2010 at 8:30 amIn the February edition of Target Marketing Magazine, IBM’s VP of Service-Oriented Architecture and WebSphere Strategy, Channels and Marketing, Sandy Carter, shared in some detail how they are mastering their social media strategy, and how it may help you.
Though not exhaustive from the article, three ideas she shared may be of great benefit to any company, of any size, as you develop a social media strategy.
1. Listening – “We’re really focused in on ensuring that we build…an environment with our customers that’s one of sharing and collaboration.
2. Execution – “We’re focused on better execution…so we want to build the best and most effective go-to-market strategy, especially in this market.”
3. Business Value – “We want to be the most agile business there is. And we want to be able to respond in real time to opportunities.”
This is a very good article. I sincerely recommend you take a few moments and see what you can glean from it that will help your business.
